Refund Policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

This policy applies to LoadSimulate subscriptions purchased through Paddle. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for these purchases and handles payment processing, billing and relevant refund processing. It does not limit mandatory consumer rights. Paddle’s buyer terms and refund policy apply to the payment transaction and take precedence if there is a conflict.

1. Monthly free trial

The Pro Monthly plan is €19/month and includes a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required. If you cancel before the trial ends, the first recurring €19/month charge should not be taken. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription converts to the paid Monthly plan under the checkout terms. Pro Annual is €159/year; this policy does not imply an Annual-plan free trial.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription at any time using the subscription-management link in your Paddle receipt or the available Paddle billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals according to the subscription terms, and you will normally retain Pro access until the end of the current trial or paid billing period. Cancellation does not automatically refund a payment that has already been charged.

3. Refunds and statutory withdrawal rights

Transactions are generally subject to Paddle’s Refund Policy and Buyer Terms. Mandatory statutory rights continue to apply. Eligible consumers may have a 14-day withdrawal right for certain transactions, depending on jurisdiction and applicable law. Where a subscription includes a free trial, Paddle’s current policy may provide a new 14-calendar-day withdrawal period after the trial ends, subject to eligibility, applicable law and relevant exceptions. This is not an unconditional guarantee for every buyer or transaction; discretionary refund requests are assessed under Paddle’s current policy.

4. How to request a refund

For a Paddle purchase, initiate a refund or withdrawal request through Paddle Buyer Support, or use the “Manage subscription” or “View receipt” link in your purchase confirmation email. Paddle may assess eligibility under its Buyer Terms, Refund Policy and applicable consumer law. You may also write to support@loadsimulate.com for help locating your Paddle transaction or explaining a product issue; LoadSimulate does not independently determine statutory refund or withdrawal rights.

5. Renewals, duplicate charges and service issues

Normal subscription renewal payments are not automatically refundable simply because you cancel after the renewal has been charged. Any refund remains subject to Paddle’s policy, applicable law and eligibility. If you believe that you were charged twice, did not authorise a purchase or cannot access a paid feature, contact Paddle promptly and send product-support details to us where helpful.

6. Processing an approved refund

If a refund is approved, Paddle returns funds through the original payment method where possible and sends the relevant confirmation or credit note. The time for funds to appear depends on the payment method and financial institution. Access to the refunded Pro subscription may end when the refund is processed.

7. Mandatory rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any withdrawal, refund, consumer-protection or other mandatory right that applies to you. Paddle’s applicable buyer terms and refund policy will govern the payment transaction.
